This Privacy Policy explains how ArteFX LLC (“ArteFX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our websites, applications, administrative tools, and related services, collectively referred to as the “Services.”

This Privacy Policy applies to Services operated by ArteFX that link to this policy.
Certain applications may be provided on behalf of an employer, customer, or other organization. In those circumstances, that organization may control some of the information processed through the application, and its own privacy notices or policies may also apply.

- Password in cryptographically hashed form
- Employer, organization, department, or role

We do not store one-time verification codes in readable form longer than necessary to complete the verification process.
Information submitted through the Services

Where SMS functionality is enabled, we use telephone numbers to send user-requested transactional messages, such as account-recovery or phone-verification codes.
We do not sell mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent information. We do not share that information with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may provide telephone numbers and message-routing information to telecommunications service providers solely as necessary to deliver and manage requested messages.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on user activity. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.
5. How we disclose information
We may disclose information in the following circumstances.
Service providers
We use vendors that help us provide infrastructure, hosting, databases, email, telecommunications, security, logging, monitoring, analytics, and technical support.
These providers may process information only as necessary to perform services for us and subject to applicable contractual obligations.
Your organization
For employee-facing or organization-administered Services, authorized administrators may access information associated with accounts under their control, including account information, activity records, permissions, and information submitted through the application.
Legal and safety purposes
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or legal process.
- Respond to lawful government requests.
- Protect the rights, safety, and security of users, ArteFX, or others.
- Detect or investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Business transfers
Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction. Where required, we will provide notice of material changes affecting personal information.
With your direction or consent
We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or provide consent.
6. Sale and targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for money.
We do not use or disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless a specific Service provides additional notice and any choices required by law.

These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit, password hashing, logging, backups, least-privilege permissions, and security monitoring.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration will never occur.
The FTC advises businesses to collect only information they actually need, retain it only as long as necessary, and protect whatever they retain.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and the applicable Service, you may be able to:

- Request deletion of certain information.

For organization-administered accounts, you may need to direct a request to your employer or the organization controlling the account.

California’s CCPA provides qualifying consumers with rights that can include access, deletion, correction, and opting out of certain sales or sharing, but the law applies only to businesses meeting its statutory coverage requirements.
10. Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without legally required authorization.

Applications intentionally directed to children require additional disclosures and controls; the federal COPPA rule may require notice and verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from children under 13.
11. International users
The Services are operated from the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
Where required, we use appropriate mechanisms for international data transfers.
12. Third-party links
The Services may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. This Privacy Policy does not govern third parties’ independent privacy practices.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the revised policy and update the “Last updated” date.
When required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before material changes take effect.
